the last week of 2008 is full of food, eating & food & eating~!!! burps~~ festive season= gluttony time? o.O yet definitely a good time to get together b4 we work harder for 2009!! =P
sat: steamboat! with psg @ justin's plc. or post x'mas celebration? hui got her fav 'tan hun' or 'dong fen', sylvia got her fav mushroom (the long thin yellowish kind which i dun noe the ang moh name) & me got my fav hotdog!! hotdogs were quite limited. no more after the 1st round lor... ='( so everyone saved their portions of the precious hotdogs throughout. the feeling is like 'i wana eat u but if i eat u later no more le...' =X the biggest portion is 'tan hun', one pot full of it & hui must b quite happy abt it.
after steamboat & gift exhange we nua ard the hse & watched deuce bigalow: male giggolo. Rob Schneider is not as hilarous as the other shows which he acted in lehz~ but some parts r still funny lahz. still feeling so full.. x_X the rest decided we go liquid kitchen to chill & they said they were no longer full. o.O relaxing time chatting~ =) & the grapefruit juice probably helped me with some digestion. =D
sun: singing session with ssg~! 1st time lor.. after ages!! & its great cos we discovered someone sound like andy lau. wah~ not bad huhz.. & we deduce that andy lau may not b suited to sing 'rooftop'.. haha~ X) hong probably noes wat i mean.
mon: dinner with ying & li. we had gals talk thru the meal. oh yes, we dined @ a shanghainese restaurant. they got special names for some dishes like 'ant climbing up the tree' which is 'dong fen' stirred fried with minced meat & mushroom.. basically i dun find the food any different from local ones.. on the whole i was stuffed again. o.O
tue: bbq & steamboat with colleagues. =) the restaurant always look so packed with customers, but luckily we managed to make reservations. so so hungry after a long day of housekeeping... x_X tucked in ppl!! =P
the ice cream making was quite fun but i doubted i can stuff more into my exhausted stomach. peng was out with his ice cream pancake analogy.. haha.. the 'pancake' was too brittle to be rolled lor. anyway, time passes fast & we still left with a lot of ice cream ingredients (with different flavours). so we decided to dump all in & mix. sounds gross rite? but ended up tasting quite good. lolz~ dun judge the ice cream by its look. haha~ =D
4 consecutive days of food indulgence~!! lolz~ now time for fat purging. =) ganbatte!!
