despite the tough economic situation most if not all industries r challenged with, our company still had a wonderful dnd @ ritz carlton last month. the theme of the nite is casino. most ppl look glamourous in tuxedos & suits, dresses & gowns, esp the ang moh co-workers from suntec & the vips.
the setting of the cocktail area is of course casino. ppl crowded ard tables playing black jack & a spinning numbered platform with a ball inside (dun noe the name of the game~ hee). there were bunny gals patrolling ard too. i tot i was teleported to Las Vegas for a moment. (hahaha~ i was still awake.) =D
alrite~ the function was grand indeed, yet spiced up by a really humourous emcee. omg, he's multilingual!! ang moh, mandarin, malay, tamil, hindi, hokkien & so on~~ he even sang a song entitled 'fight to win' (direct translation). haha~ the only pity is he's not good at german.. =X there were many other great performances. one guy sang andy lau's song. he cld mb perhaps probably emerged as champion of the best performance if he sang the theme song of shuang tian zhi zun instead. X)
the food was rather disappointing in view of a 6-star hotel. my colleagues all shared the same sentiments. could it b due to the bad economy? hmmz~ the starter was some deep fried stuff which i deem v v oily.. x_X my favourite dish of the nite is their corn soup. its a v simple soup & the corns were v sweet. =)
a great time for colleagues & loved ones to get together.
